On chilly days, this dairy-free hot chocolate in the perfect treat. Velvety smooth and rich, it’s not too sweet and it’s oh so comforting.

  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 2 heaping spoonfuls unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon demerara sugar or light brown sugar

  1. Add the coconut milk to a small saucepan over a moderate heat. Stir in the cocoa powder and sugar until well combined and heat through (do not boil.) Adjust the sweetness if you want.
